Program Overview

The Business Correspondent/Facilitator course is designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to serve as an intermediary between banks and customers, facilitating access to banking services in rural or underserved areas. This online course covers a wide range of responsibilities that Business Correspondents (BCs) and Facilitators undertake, including sourcing customers, assisting with banking applications, and performing daily banking transactions.


Over a 3-month period (330 hours), learners will gain practical knowledge on banking products and services, customer engagement, and the administrative tasks required to support customers in accessing financial services. The course also includes employability skills to enhance job readiness for roles in marketing and sales of banking products.

Prospective Occupation Post-Training Completion:
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be well-prepared for roles such as Executive or Senior Executive in Marketing and Sales for Banking Products. Graduates will be equipped to assist banks in expanding their customer base, managing banking operations, and promoting a range of financial products such as savings accounts, loans, and insurance. They will be able to handle customer queries, facilitate transactions, and drive banking services in both urban and rural areas.
